Yes, to help track attendance and capacity a free ticket is required for children.

Do children need a ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes, to help track attendance and capacity a free ticket is required for children. Under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult.

Question 3

Will there be bag checks in place?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for public safety our security team will be checking bags, we advise to use clear bags or limit the items you bring to reduce queuing times.

Question 4

Can I bring alcohol to the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, alcohol is permitted on site as long as it is not in a glass bottle. Alcohol is limited to a maximum of 8 cans per person or one 500ml plastic bottle of spirits. Please be advised if you do bring glass to the event it will be confiscated on entry.

Can I bring food to the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, guests can bring their own food to the event, we just ask that you use the bins for your litter. Alternatively there will be vendors in site for food.

Can I bring my own gazebo?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not allow guests to bring their own temporary structures. Due to health and safety procedures that Salford Pride have to follow infrastructure on site has to be erected by our own insured suppliers.

Can I bring my own seating?

Accepted Answer

Yes, guests can bring their own foldable seating on site, however tables or plastic garden furniture is not permitted. We ask that any equipment you bring you take home after the event.

Is there parking at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, paid parking is available in the Farmer Norton Car park, Peru St, M3 6FS. Entrance is on Cleminson Street, all day parking costs £4.00.

Is there disabled parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Peel Park has limited site parking, there are 3 clearly marked disabled parking bays located down a vehicle ramp. Once these bays are full, visitors will have to use alternative paid parking  in front of Salford Museum and Art Gallery, M5 4WU.

Is the site wheelchair friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the park has disabled ramps for access and the venue is flat. However the event is on grass and depends on weather conditions.

Question 11

Will there be food and drink vendors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there will be a bar for guests to purchase alcohol and several food vendors to purchase refreshments on the day.

Can I bring bikes into the event?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not allow bikes into the event space for public safety.
